As much as this site started out with the intent to help Canadians move to Portugal, as Portugal has become drastically more hostile to immigration, and as the cabal of real estate agents, relocation experts, immigration lawyers and other random paid influencers try and put a positive spin on the situation here, we are able to tell the real story of what it is like for a Canadian to move to Portugal without embellishment. The purpose of the site has morphed over the years from helping Canadians to immigrate here to warning them against doing so. If we save even a single Canadian from experiencing the trauma that we have experienced from our time in Portugal, it is worth it.
